Return Policy

Wallpaper return policy.

We regret that we can not accept returns for any other reasons than manufacturer defect or shipping damage. This is because all wallpaper is ordered specifically for you. We strongly recommend you order a sample cutting prior to placing an order.
If you receive a wallpaper that is defective, please email us or call us at 0427 010 043 immediately after receipt. We will issue a call ticket for the defective item and promptly ship out the replacement wallpaper. If stock is not available, you also have the option of getting a full refund.
All damage claims must be made within 14 days of receipt.
No returns will be accepted if cutting or alteration has been made to the merchandise.

Fabric return policy.

If you receive a fabric that is defective, please email us or call us at 0427 010 043 immediately after receipt. We will issue a call ticket for the defective item and promptly ship out the replacement fabric. If stock is not available, you also have the option of getting a full refund.

Lighting, art, cushions, furniture & homewares return policy.

House of Allure Interiors & Design accepts returns within 14 days of purchase, less a 25% restocking fee. This policy applies to all items sold under the heading of lighting, art, cushions, furniture and homewares through this website with the following exceptions:
-Incorrect shipment
-Shipping damage
-Defective merchandise
Damaged, defective merchandise or incorrect shipments will be credited for the full amount provided you make a timely claim in accordance with the instructions below. Your option also includes full exchange or replacement for the correct item.
Please inspect your packages within 24 hours after receipt. All claims for damages must be made within 24 hours. You will be asked to provide photographic evidence within this time frame. When we are satisfied that the goods are damaged or defective, you will be offered a replacement for the product. The goods will have to be returned to us within 14 days.
We are unable to accept returns beyond 14 days.
We do not pay for the shipping of returned items unless the items delivered were either defective or arrived damaged. In these cases, please contact our customer service department immediately upon receipt and we will arrange for a pickup of the goods. Upon receipt and inspection of the merchandise, we will credit your account for the full amount of the order.
All returns must be shipped to us freight prepaid. We do not accept COD packages.
Credit for returns are issued within 48 hours after we receive your package. Actual credit might take 3-7 days depending on your credit company. We will email you the credit receipt as soon as it is issued.

Made to measure products return policy.

We are not able to accept returns on any made to measure items including curtains, blinds, cushions and headboards as they will have been made or cut to order and we are not able to sell them to another customer, the product/s is specifically made for you. We cannot accept returns due to incorrect measurements supplied to us.
We do our very best to make sure your made to measure items are perfect, but in the event there is a fault we will first see if it is possible to make an alteration to fix the fault. If we cannot fix the fault, we will arrange a replacement, or a partial or full refund.

Returns proceedure.

1. To begin our returns procedure please download the return form from the button displayed at the bottom of this page. Please fill out the required details presented on the returns form, you will also need to include the product you wish to return, the quantity and reason for return. After filling in the form, please email the form to our customer service at hello@houseofallure.com.au

2. Once you have emailed us your returns request you will be presented with a returns note and returns label detailing the address that you need to send your parcel(s) to. Please print a copy of each for every parcel you are returning. Place the returns note inside the parcel and clearly and securely attach the returns label to the outside of the parcel. This paperwork is essential for us to identify your return. PLEASE NOTE we cannot accept returns or process refunds if the paperwork is not attached to each parcel. If returning a faulty item please indicate if you require a replacement or refund. Please remember that in order for the return to be processed without delay you must ensure that the goods are wrapped securely in the same outer packaging in which you received them.

3. All returned goods will be examined upon receipt as for reasons of hygiene we are unable to offer refunds on any opened or used goods. We will process your return as quickly as possible and will notify you by e-mail once your refund or replacement has been processed. During busy periods, please allow a maximum of 30 working days for your refund, replacement or exchange to be processed.

4. Your payment for the goods will be refunded by House of Allure Interiors & Design as soon as possible by the original payment method, no later than 30 working days after we have received the goods. Please note that delivery charges are not refunded. In addition to our returns policy you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days from the date of receipt of the goods if you send us a notice of cancellation in writing and return the goods to us in their original, unopened and unused condition. Where goods are delivered to a third party you may also exercise this right if you are able to return the goods to us in their original, unopened and unused condition.
