Can the paint consultation be conducted virtually instead of an on-site visit?

Given the nature of lighting and the variations in how computer screens interpret colour, the paint consultation for the Colour Confidence Package cannot be conducted virtually. An on-site visit is necessary to accurately assess the space, lighting conditions, and existing colour palette in order to provide personalised and accurate colour recommendations. We believe that an in-person consultation allows for the best outcome and ensures that the recommended colours will complement and enhance your space effectively.

Can you provide guidance on colours for benchtops, tiles, cabinetry, or flooring during the consultation?

The primary focus of the Colour Confidence package is on paint consultations. However, if you already have a selection of samples with you, we’re more than happy to offer advice on how these elements can complement your new paint scheme. Our aim is to maximise the hour we have together and the value we provide to our clients by assisting with your existing selections.

What if I have a change of heart regarding the recommended colours after the consultation?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you find that the selected colour doesn’t align with your preference, simply inform us about what aspects of the colour you’re not loving, and we’ll be happy to assist in reselecting a more suitable colour. In this case, we won’t provide an additional report or colour mock-up. Instead, as a one-time courtesy, we will email you the new paint colour selection for you to test. However, if you require a completely new consultation and a comprehensive report, the same fee initially will apply.

Can you recommend painters for the job?

Yes, we have established partnerships with a select few preferred painters we can recommend. However, it’s important to note that their schedules are often quite busy. While it may require some patience, the quality of their work is typically well worth the wait. This recommendation is a privilege exclusively available to our clients upon purchase.

Can I use the comprehensive report and paint samples to purchase paint from any brand or store?

While the comprehensive report and paint samples provide guidance in selecting the right colours for your space, it’s important to note that different paint brands may have variations in their base paints. These variations can affect the final outcome of the colour once applied to your walls. Therefore, we recommend taking the comprehensive report and paint samples to a store that carries the specific brand we recommended, or consulting with a professional paint supplier who can accurately match the colours using the recommended brand’s base paints. This ensures the best possible result and consistency with the intended colour scheme for your project.

I’m seeking comprehensive advice that covers aspects beyond paint colours, such as decorating a lounge room and designing my kitchen. Can you assist with this?

In this scenario, I’d recommend opting for an initial consultation instead. It seems like your project involves more than just selecting paint colours. The initial consultation is structured to gather information and provide direction, enabling us to define the project’s scope. During this initial visit, we conduct an on-site analysis to understand your goals, needs, and any specific requirements for the space.

This design session will also be packed full of thoughtful and valuable design advice. We offer big picture ideas, recommendations, solutions and guidance for your project which we can use to kick start your project. It may be followed up with a design & fee proposal to be able to move it into a full service interior design project endeavour.
