HOUSE OF ALLURE WALLPAPER CALCULATOR — INTERNAL USAGE GUIDE
Purpose
This is a conservative internal estimating and budgeting tool for House of Allure.
It is intended to support design-stage material estimation and provisional budgeting, not replace installer quoting.
WALL DIMENSIONS
All measurements are entered in millimetres (mm).
- Measure wall width as the horizontal wallpapered span.
- Measure wall height as finished floor to finished ceiling.
- Each wall is treated independently because differing wall heights change usable roll yield.
Example:
Wall 1 = 3600 × 2700
Wall 2 = 2400 × 2400
DOORS / WINDOWS DEDUCTION METHOD
Do not deduct openings
Use when:
- Patterned wallpaper
- Large repeats
- Murals
- Feature walls
- Centred compositions
- Installer prefers full drops
- Uncertainty exists
Best conservative default.

- Large sliding doors
- Tall meaningful openings
- Simpler papers
Calculator rule:
Opening height must be at least 65% of the wall height.
Smaller windows are ignored because offcuts often cannot be efficiently reused once pattern matching is considered.

For internal quoting, the upper band is generally the safer provisional budgeting figure.
Always subject to installer site inspection and formal quotation.

Allowance excludes:
- wall preparation
- repairs
- substrate remediation
- existing wallpaper removal
- scaffold / access equipment
- specialist access
- unexpected site issues
