In this intimate project, our lead designer poured her heart into crafting a nursery for her own bundle of joy. With the anticipation of a baby girl, the focus was on creating a gender-neutral space that exuded sophistication and warmth. The colour palette, comprising of warm neutrals, sage, hunter, and olive greens alongside rich teak wood accents, set the stage for a serene yet lively ambiance.

Drawing inspiration from the wonders of the jungle, the centrepiece of the room is a captivating wallpaper mural depicting lush foliage inhabited by playful monkeys and the graceful presence of a giraffe. Positioned against this backdrop is a teak crib, adorned with modern arch cut outs and ball feet details and a sage canopy, offering a cosy haven for slumber and dreams.

Repurposing a dresser found on Facebook Marketplace, the designer breathed new life into it with a coat of hunter green paint and brass accents, transforming it into a functional and stylish changing station. A versatile wing chair, boasting reclining, gliding, and swivelling capabilities, serves as the perfect spot for story time and cuddles.

Delicate white sheer curtains, adorned with jungle leaf motifs, dance gracefully in the breeze, complemented by a full block-out lining for optimal light control. Anchoring the space is a washable tribal pattern rug, providing a practical and comfortable area for play.

With its whimsical yet refined elements, this nursery invites the imagination to roam freely in a jungle-inspired haven fit for any young explorer.
