"When we met Lisa our house needed renovating badly. I had a vague idea of what might look good in our home, but had no idea where to start except to go with neutral colours and matching furnishings for a ‘safe’ look. (Boring!) I badly wanted to be more bold and take a chance on colour and style as we have a magnificent view over the hills, so I wanted to create the ‘wow’ factor- but was very nervous about making the wrong choices. When we hired Lisa she was met with a run-down, decrepit 70s/80s kitchen, walls in the wrong places, none of the flooring from the kitchen to the lounge/dining and hallways matched, the walls were odd colours and the whole area was a mess. Lisa looked at the whole space and drew up some plans, then created an animated graphic design video showing us her ideas for the renovations and furnishings. This included knocking walls out, a brand new kitchen, floors, art wall, new lounge, dining table and chairs, bar area and accessories like rugs, lamps etc. She envisioned an incredible open-plan kitchen/dining space with flowing floors, amazing storage, gorgeous furnishings, colour that popped everywhere you looked- and with her concept of bringing ‘outside in’ she has enhanced our views and made the whole area a stunning, stylish, one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Now that it is completed I’ve gone from living in an embarrassing mess to my dream home. And as an added bonus there are the compliments as soon as people enter our gorgeous new front door- they all open their eyes wide and say ‘Wow!’. Every single person has commented on how incredible it looks and the house now has that designer flair that Lisa told me she was going to create. I feel almost guilty that people think it was me that did it all! Lisa’s style is very unique and stylish, she has an excellent vision and the best thing you can do is to trust it, you wont be disappointed. She’s easy to work with and very patient when it comes to the nitty gritty of getting a look together that is just perfect for her client. Thank you so much Lisa!
