This captivating renovation and extension project breathed new life into an existing home, transforming it from front to back. The journey began with a focus on material and colour selections, followed by a meticulous curation of furniture and décor for the entire residence. The occupants, a couple and their adult son, entrusted us with their vision, and together, we embarked on a design adventure.

A shared appreciation for texture united our firm and the clients, paving the way for a design concept steeped in Global Sophistication. Guided by a predominantly warm neutral palette, we sought to infuse the home with an understated elegance that would stand the test of time.

In the new extension, which now housed the kitchen, dining, and living areas, we opted for large format rectangular tiles that exuded modernity and style. Throughout the older portion of the house, the decision to install exquisite spot gum timber floors added warmth and character. To elevate the laundry space, we selected stone penny round tiles, imbuing it with interest. However, it was the living room that stole the show, with a breathtaking mural wallpaper adorning one wall, showcasing an enchanting scene from a vintage print. To create balance and sophistication, we adorned the master bedroom and formal lounge with vinyl grass cloth wallpaper, which served as a backdrop for elegant ivory leather dressers.

To infuse soul and personality into the neutral palette, we curated a lush and eclectic mix of furniture and accessories. An exquisite custom-made American Oak round dining table, designed to comfortably accommodate eight guests, took center stage in the dining area. Paired with chartreuse green velvet dining chairs, it became a focal point for family gatherings and entertaining. In the master bedroom, we crafted a custom bed head with built-in drawers, providing both functionality and elegance. The office space boasted a glossy ox blood-colored desk, exuding sophistication, while Blu Dot’s Dang dresser discreetly concealed office equipment.
